Welcome
- Mt. Olive Child Care & Learning Center is a 501(c)(3) registered public charity which has offered community-based programming since 1976: affordable child and family services for working families.
- The mission/purpose of the Center is to provide quality and affordable child care and family support services to the community: REGARDLESS OF INCOME. (Sliding fee scales are available so all families can access our programs.)
- We offer 4 main programs:
- Infant & Toddler Child Care
- Preschool Child Care
- School-Age Child Care - including Before & After School, Summer Camp, Holiday Care, and Inclement Weather Care
- Parent Education Program - for "at-risk" families (anti-child abuse and neglect program which is free for eligible families)
- Our programs are both licensed by the state and accredited by NAEYC (National Association for the Education for Young Children and NAA National Afterschool Association). FYI: only 5% of the child care centers in the county, state, and country are NAEYC accredited for meeting the highest recognized standards of quality. Twenty School Age Care and education program are NAA accredited in New Jersey; five of these are MOCC&LC Programs.
- We have a long history of collaborating with the Mt. Olive Township Public Schools, various Township Departments (Health, Police, and Recreation), Family Service of Morris County, and other organizations to meet the growing needs of the families in Mt. Olive Township and the surrounding community.
- We serve 400 children at a time at 6 sites, including 4 elementary schools and the middle school in Mt. Olive Township. The Preschool Before & After Kindergarten Program and Infant and Toddler Program have been consolidated in our renovated facility at 150 Wolfe Road in Budd Lake Over 6,000 children and their families have been served by our community-based programs since 1976.
Serving children and families in Mt. Olive Township (Flanders and Budd Lake), Netcong, Succasunna, Hackettstown, Chester, Randolph, Kenvil, and surrounding communities in Morris County, Warren County, and Sussex County in northern New Jersey.
