Welcome
- Mt. Olive Child Care & Learning Center is a 501(c)(3) registered public charity which has offered community-based programming and affordable child and family services to over 6,000 children and families since 1976.
- The mission/purpose of the Center is to provide quality and affordable child care and family support services to the community: REGARDLESS OF INCOME. (Sliding fee scales are available so all families can access our programs.)
- We offer 4 main programs:
- Infant & Toddler Child Care
- Preschool Child Care
- School-Age Child Care - including Before & After School, Summer Camp, Holiday Care, and Inclement Weather Care
- Parent Education Program - for "at-risk" families; free for eligible families in the community
- Our programs are both licensed by the state and accredited by NAEYC (National Association for the Education for Young Children) and by NAA (National Afterschool Association). FYI: only 5% of the child care centers in the county, state, and country are NAEYC accredited for meeting the highest recognized standards of quality. Twenty school age care and education programs are NAA accredited in New Jersey; five of these are MOCC&LC Programs.
- We have a long history of collaborating with the Mt. Olive Township Public Schools, various Township Departments (Health, Police, and Recreation), Family Service of Morris County, and other organizations to meet the growing needs of the families in Mt. Olive Township and the surrounding community.
- We serve 400 children at a time at 6 sites, including 4 elementary schools and the middle school in Mt. Olive Township.
Serving children and families in Mt. Olive Township (Flanders and Budd Lake), Netcong, Succasunna, Hackettstown, Chester, Randolph, Kenvil, and surrounding communities in Morris County, Warren County, and Sussex County in northern New Jersey.
